What are Sahtein workshops about?

SAHTEIN centres people living at the intersections of LGBTQIA+, neurodivergence, and culture — uplifting resilience, honouring lived experience, and offering community‑based support that is not clinical treatment.

SAHTEIN acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we gather, cook, and share food.

I recognise that sovereignty was never ceded, and honour the enduring strength, resilience, and cultural knowledge of First Nations peoples. Their deep traditions of communal gathering, preparing food, and caring for Country continue to shape this land.

This truth guides the intention behind SAHTEIN — to share food with respect, to gather with care, and to build community in a way that honours the cultures that have always nourished this land, with reverence for all life within it.
